1. The Government of the Republic of Rwanda has obtained a loan from the World Bank to finance the Rural Sector Support Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this credit to finance services for the rehabilitation works on Kajevuba marshland in Gasabo District, Kigali City.

2 The Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources delegates the Rural Sector Support Project (RSSP) to follow up the execution of these works.

3. The National Tender Board is now advertising the tender for the rehabilitation works on Kajevuba marshland in Gasabo District, Kigali city

4. The tender document can be consulted during working hours and can be bought at the National Tender Board, sis Avenue de la Paix, B.P. 4276 Kigali/Rwanda, Tel. : 501401/3/4/5/6, Fax: 501402, E-mail : ntb-rwandatel.rwanda1.com for non refundable amount of Twenty Thousand Rwanda Francs (20,000Rwf) on the account N° 120.00.61 referred as “NTB produits et ventes divers” in the National Bank of Rwanda (BNR) from the 18/09/2007.

5. Bids must be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of bids submission and must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of 2,000,000Rwf from an acceptable Bank or Insurance company and submitted to the address mentioned above not later than the 02/11/2007 at 09 hrs precise (7:00 GMT). The Bids will be opened on the same day at 10 hrs (8:00 GMT) in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend this opening session.

6. The site visit is set for the 03/10/2007 at 9 hrs (7:00 GMT); meeting point will be at RURAL SECTOR SUPPORT PROJECT headquarters and will be guided by representatives of the Rural Sector Support Project (RSSP).

N.B: All the information regarding tenders awarded including minutes of the board meetings shall be available on written request to the National Tender Board; the same information shall also be displayed on public notice boards outside the National Tender Board office and on its website www.ntb.gov.rw.
