6. Object of the contract: International technical assistance — fee-based
contract.
7. Contract description: The aim of the contract is to consolidate the
PASA programme, being run by the Government of Bolivia as part of the
Ministry of Rural Development, Agriculture and the Environment's
sector-based policy, in the following areas: staff training, monitoring of
effects and impacts of the programme, providing support for
institutionalisation of the programme and reinforcing the implementation
of policies relating to the sector.
8. Indicative budget: EUR 800 000.
9. Date of publication of the contract notice: 10.12.2007 (estimated
date).
10. Additional information: The service contract must start on 8.7.2008
at the latest.
11. Legal basis: Council Regulation (EC) No 1292/96 of 27.6.1996 on
food-aid policy and food-aid management and special operations in support
