TITLE OF TENDER : SUPPLY TO THE OCIR-CAFÉ OF 43 000 LITERS OF CHLORPYRIPHOS-ETHYL EMULSIFIABLE CONCENTRATE INSECTICIDE (EC) FOR THE CONTROL OF ANTESTIA AND 875 LITERS OF IMIDACHLOPRIDE FOR THE CONTROL OF ANTESTIA

The Rwanda Public Procurement Authority, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning "MINECOFIN" in acronym, invites International Bidders to tender for the supply to the OCIR-Café of 43 000 liters of chlorpyriphos-éthyl emulsifiable concentrate insecticide (EC) for the control of antestia and 875 liters of imidachlopride for the control of antestia . The tender to compete for is composed of two (02) lots.

Lot 1: Supply to the OCIR-Café of 43 000 liters of chlorpyriphos-éthyl emulsifiable
concentrate insecticide (EC) for the control of antestia ;

Lot 2: Supply to the OCIR-Café of875 liters of imidachlopride for the control of
antestia.

Participation is open to all persons and companies specialised in the field.

The tender documents can be obtained free of charge and from the Rwanda Public Procurement Authority, P.O Box : 4276 Kigali, Tel. 501403/04/05, Fax: 501402 from Monday 09/06/2008.

Interested prospective bidders may obtain further information at the address of the Rwanda Public Procurement Authority not later than 28 days prior to the deadline for the submission of their bids.

Well printed bids, prepared in French or in English language, properly bound and presented in five copies, one of which is the original and four copies, must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of four million five hundred thousand Rwanda francs for lot 1 (Rfw 4 500 000 ) and one million Rwanda francs for lot 2
(Rfw 1 000 000) or their equivalent in any freely convertible currency, issued by a bank or a registered insurance company must reach in sealed envelopes the Director of the Rwanda Public Procurement Authority not later than 05/08/2008 at 9h 00’ a.m. local time, i. e 7h 00’ G.M.T.

Copies shall be put into an envelope called "inner envelope" bearing the name and the address of the bidder. This envelope shall be put into another one called "outer envelope" marked as follows :
