TITLE: SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT
FOR 30 kV “Nyankora-Nasho” Electric Line in Ngoma District.

FINANCING: ELECTROGAZ

ELECTROGAZ invites competitors for this international Tender concerning the supply of electric equipment for the construction of 30 kV electrical line “Nyankora-Nasho” in Ngoma District.

The tender constitutes one indivisible batch as follows: Construction of 30 kV electrical line “Nyankora-Nasho” in Ngoma District.

Participation is open to the companies specialized in the field.

The tender document can be obtained from 17/06/2008 at the Secretariat of the Director General of ELECTROGAZ, P.O.BOX.537 Kigali. Tel. 573 660, 575 476. Fax 573 802, E-mail: elgz@rwanda1.com, upon presentation of a prepaid Bank slip of non- refundable amount of Thirty Thousand Rwandan Francs (30.000 RWF) for local companies and One Hundred Dollars (100 USD) for foreign companies. This payment can be done to the cash register office of the General Direction of ELECTROGAZ or on the account n° 010-0588001-68 opened to the BCR (Commercial Bank of Rwanda), P.O. BOX.354 Kigali - Rwanda, Fax (250) 573395.

The offers should be well typed, appropriately bound and presented in four copies of which there is one original and three copies and must be accompanied by a bond security of 5.000.000 Rwf in any free convertible currency, issued by a reputable bank or a registered issurance company. Interested prospective bidders may obtain further information at the same address of ELECTROGAZ not later than 28 days prior to the deadline for the submission of their bids.

Compulsory site visit to the project will take place on 27/06/2008. Venue for departure shall be at the carpark of ELECTROGAZ Headquarter at 8:30 am local time or 6:30 GMT.

The offers must reach in sealed folds addressed to the Director General of ELECTROGAZ not later than 01/08/2008 at 9:30 a.m specify local hour. Poorly presented bids will be rejected.





The opening of bids shall take place the same day in public session at 10 00 hours prompt local time (8.00 GMT) in the conference room of ELECTROGAZ.
