TITLE: PROCUREMENT FOR PYLONS AND ELECTRICAL POLES

FINANCING: ELECTROGAZ

ELECTROGAZ hereby invites international sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Pylons and electrical poles for a period of 24 months.

The tender constitutes 4 indivisible batches each as follows:

Batch 1 : MV Electrical metalic pylons
Batch 2 : MV and LV Electrical metallic poles
Batch 3 : MV and LV electrical concrete poles
Batch 4 : MV and LV electrical concrete poles

Participation is open to all persons and companies specialised in the field.

The tender document can be obtained from 14/07/2008 at the Secretariat of the Head of the Procurement Unit of ELECTROGAZ, P.O.BOX.537 Kigali. Tel. 573 660, 575 476. Fax 573 802, E-mail: elgz@rwanda1.com, upon presentation of a prepaid Bank slip of non- refundable amount of Fifty Thousand Rwandans Francs (50.000 RWf) for local companies or one One Hundred Fifty Dollars (150 USD) for foreign companies. This payment can be done to the cash register office of the Head office of ELECTROGAZ or on the account n° 010-0588001-68 opened to the BCR (Commercial Bank of Rwanda), P.O. BOX.354 Kigali - Rwanda, Fax (250) 573395 or on the account n° 6013646-67 opened in dollars to the ‘’Banque de Kigali’’. The bidders interested to compete can get additional information to the same address.

The offers well typed, appropriately bound and presented in four copies of which an original and three copies, must be accompanied by a banking guarantee of submission of Five Million Rwandan Francs (RWF 5 000 000) must reach in sealed folds to Mr. the Director General of ELECTROGAZ to the foresaid address at least, 28/08/2008 at 9:30 a. m specify local hour.

The opening of bids will take place the same day at 10 00 hours prompt local time (8.00 GMT) in the conference room of ELECTROGAZ in public session.
