TITLE : ACQUISITION OF PROTECTIVE ENCLOSURES FOR ELECTRICAL PREPAYMENT METERS AND DOMESTIC WATER METERS AND ACCESSORIES FOR THE ACCOUNT OF ELECTROGAZ

FINANCING: ELECTROGAZ

ELECTROGAZ hereby invites international sealed bids from eligible bidders for the acquisition of protective enclosures for electrical prepayment meters and domestic water meters and accessories for the account of ELECTROGAZ. The Tender is divided in two (2) separate lots:

Lot I: Acquisition of 12000 enclosures for single phase electrical prepayment meters and 2000 enclosures for three phase prepayment meters
Lot II: Acquisition of 16000 enclosures for domestic DN15 water meters and 3 000 enclosures for DN20 water meters

Participation is open to all persons and companies specialised in the field.

The Tender documents can be obtained from the Secretariat of Procurement Unit of ELECTROGAZ PO box 537, Tél(250)573660/575476, Fax: (250)573802 Kigali-Rwanda, located at “avenue de la Paix”, from 21/07/2008 upon presentation of a prepaid Bank slip of a non refundable fee of Fifty Thousand (50 000) Rwanda Francs for local companies or 100 US dollars for foreign companies paid to the account N° 010-0005880-01-68 opened at the “Banque Commerciale du Rwanda’’(BCR). Interested prospective bidders may obtain further information at the address of ELECTROGAZ not later than 28 days prior to the deadline for the submission of their bids.

Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in four copies one of which is the original must reach in sealed envelopes the Executive Secretary of the National Tender Board not later than 04/09/2008 at 9h30’ prompt local time accompanied by a bond security of Two Millions Rwandese Francs (RWF 2 000 000) or the equivalent in any convertible currency, issued by a reputable bank or a registered insurance company.
Poorly presented bids will be rejected.

Copies shall be put into an envelope called ”inner envelope” bearing the name and the address of the bidder. This envelope shall be put into another one called”outer envelope” marked, in addition to the tender reference number, as follows:
