I. NATIONAL OPEN TENDER N° 11.07.053/2093/08/PROC-DIR/JM/am.

TITLE : ACQUISITION OF 100 MOTOCYCLES FOR ELECTROGAZ.

FINANCING: ELECTROGAZ

ELECTROGAZ hereby invites National sealed bids from eligible bidders for the acquisition of 100 Motocyles. The tender is divided in one indivisible lot.

Participation is open to all persons and companies specialised in the field.

The Tender documents can be obtained from the Procurement Unit’s Secretariat P.o Box. 537, Tel.(250)573660/575476, Fax: (250)573802 Kigali-Rwanda, located at “avenue du Lac Ihema , from 21/07/2008 upon presentation of a prepaid Bank slip of a non refundable fee of Fifty Thousand(50 000) Rwanda Francs paid to the account N° 010-0005880-01-68 opened at the “Banque Commerciale du Rwanda”. Interested prospective bidders may obtain further information at the address of ELECTROGAZ not later than 14 days prior to the deadline for the submission of their bids.

Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in four copies one of which is the original must reach in sealed envelopes at the Managing Director’s Secretariat of ELECTROGAZ not later than 20/08/2008 at 9 h 30 a.m accompanied by a bond security of Three Million Rwanda Francs(RWF 3 000 000) or the equivalent in any convertible currency, issued by a reputable bank or a registered issurance company Poorly presented bids will be rejected.

Copies shall be put into an envelope colled” inner envelope” bearing the name and the address of the bidder. This envelope shall be put into another one called”outer envelope” marked, in addition to the tender reference number, as follows:

The opening of bids will take place on 20/08/2008 at 10 00 hours prompt local time(8.000 GMT) at the ELECTROGAZ’s conference room.
