This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Development Business No. 694 of 16 January 2007.

The Republic of Armenia has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of Yerevan Water and Wastewater Project-YWWP, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Civil works for Sectorisation, contract no: YWWP/SectorWorks/07.

Lot 2- "Yerevan Djur" CJSC “Hyusis” branch
Lot 3- "Yerevan Djur" CJSC “Harav” branch
Lot 4- "Yerevan Djur" CJSC “Arabkir-Zeytun” branch
Lot 5- "Yerevan Djur" CJSC “Arevmutq” branch
Lot 6- "Yerevan Djur" CJSC “Ajapnyak” branch
Lot 7- "Yerevan Djur" CJSC “Erebuni” branch
Lot 8- "Yerevan Djur" CJSC “Villages"

The “Yerevan Djur” CJSC, on behalf of “Municipal Development Projects Unit” SI, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for “Civil works for Sectorisation”, contract no: YWWP/SectorWorks/07 in the city of Yerevan and villages which are under the service area of “Yerevan Djur”. The construction period is 12 months.

Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 2004, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the “Yerevan Djur” CJSC at the address below during office hours 09:00 to 17:00 local time, (+ 4 GMT). A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of US $100 or equivalent amount AMD .

The method of payment will be direct deposit to specified account number.

or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency, and be delivered to the address below by November 20, 2008; 15:00 local time, (+4 GMT). They will be opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below. Late bids will be rejected.
