Acquisition of a Meter Test Station

1. The government of Rwanda has received a credit from the international Development Association towards the funding of Competitiveness and Enterprise Development Project and in intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for supply of Meter Test station.

2. The Government of Rwanda through ELECTROGAZ now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply of Meter Test station.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, published in January 1999 and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.

A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Frw 50 000 or $US100 Account Nr: 010-0588001-68 / Banque Commerciale du Rwanda (BCR)/ - P.O. 4. . The document will be sent by a mail delivery service provider or can be collected at ELECTROGAZ General Secretariat against evidence of payment.

5. Bids must be delivered to the address below not later than 02/12/2004. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 3 000 $US or equivalent in a freely convertible currency. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on 02/12/2004 at 10:00 o’clock a.m. at the address given in point 3.
