TENDER NOTICE N° 010/F/2009-I/RITA/RPPA

TITLE: SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF VARIOUS IT EQUIPMENT TO 18
TELECENTERS

CLIENTS: RWANDA INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AUTHORITY – E RWANDA PROJECT


The Rwanda Public Procurement Authority"RPPA" in collaboration with Rwanda Information Technology Authority – eRwanda Project hereby invites International tenders for the Supply of various IT equipment for 18 telecenters.
The equipment required are in 3 lots as follows:
Lot 1: Computer Desktops and UPS
• 900 Desktop Computers
• 450 Uninterruptible Power Supply Units (UPSs)
Lot 2: Servers, Network Printers, Scanners, UPS, Projectors, Projector Screens.
• 18 PC Servers
• 18 Network printers
• 18 Scanners
• 18 Projectors
• 18 Projector Screens
Lot 3: LAN Equipment.
 36 switches (24 ports)
 18 switches (16 ports)
 LAN Cabling
Participation to the competition is open on equal conditions to all eligible persons and companies specialized in the field with a valid trading license.

Tender Document may be obtained from the Rwanda Public Procurement Authority from 2nd February 2009 upon presentation of a prepaid bank slip of a non-refundable fee of ten thousand Rwandan francs (10,000FRW) or in any free convertible currency deposited to the account N°120.00.61 labeled “NTB Produits et Ventes Diverses” opened at the “Banque Nationale du Rwanda” B.P. 531 Tel: (250)572551.

Well printed bids written in French or English language, properly bound and presented in four copies of which, an original and three copies must reach, in sealed envelopes, the Director of the Rwanda Public Procurement Authority, P.O. Box 4276 Kigali, Avenue de la paix, Tel.: (250) 501403, Fax: (250) 501402 at the latest on 20th March 2009 at 09:00 a.m. local time, accompanied by a bid guarantee as follows: Lot 1: USD 10,000 or equivalent, Lot 2: USD 1200 or equivalent Lot 3: USD 1700 or equivalent, issued by a reputable bank or a registered insurance company. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will remain valid for 120 days starting from the deadline for their submission.

The opening of the bids will take place in a public session on the same day at 10:00 a.m prompt local time at the Rwanda Public Procurement Authority conference-room.
