NATIONAL OPEN COMPETITIVE BIDDING NOTICE

REFERENCE N° : 07/G/2009-2010-NO/IT/CPX

TITLE OF TENDER : ACQUISITION FOR ICT EQUIPMENTS

1. The Central Public Investments and External Finance Bureau (CEPEX) invites qualified bidders to submit their bids for the Acquisition for ICT equipments as indicated in detail in the statement of Requirements. The participation in the tender is open on equal conditions to all specialized companies registered with trading license of Rwanda.

2. Tender Documents in English or French may be obtained from the Central Public Investments and External Finance Bureau (CEPEX) upon presentation of proof payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousands Rwandan francs (10,000Rwf) or the equivalent in a freely convertible currency to Account N° 120.00.46 labeled “RWANDA REVENUE AUTHORITY” opened at the “National bank of Rwanda” (BNR), B.P 513 Kigali, Tel. (250) 572551. Please mention on the deposit slip the following: PURCHASE OF TD Nº 07/G/2009-2010-NO/IT/CPX/ acquisition for ICT equipments.


3. Tender Documents may be obtained, on any working day and during working hours, from 16th November 2009, in the Office of the Procurement Officer (CEPEX).


4. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of Seven Hundred Thousand Rwandan francs (700,000Rwf) or an equivalent in a freely convertible currency.


5. Enquiries regarding this Tender may be addressed to the Procurement Officer (CEPEX), at the address mentioned above, on any working day and during working hours.


6. Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in four copies one of which is the original must reach the Procurement Officer’s Office (CEPEX) at the address mentioned above Not later than 22nd December 2009 at 09:00 AM. Late bids will be rejected.


7. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at the same day (22/12/2009) at 10:00 AM in the small meeting room of Ex-MINIPLN building (MUHIMA).


8. The Outer envelope should clearly indicate the tender name and title.

9. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Law N° 12/2007 of 27/03/2007 on Public Procurement.

10. Bids must remain valid for a period of 120 days, time running from the deadline for submission of bids.
