Subject : Definitive notification of tender award

Dear Sir,

Reference is made to the National Open Competitive Bidding NO011/F/2009-NO/MIS DEPARTMENT/NISR/BASKET FUND to support NISR dated on 26/08/2009 published in the new paper IMVAHO NSHYA NO1917 from 31 August to 02 September 2009 on the page 7 for supply of 36 computers and 36 UPS for the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda;

Reference is made to the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda Internal Tender Committee’s evaluation report made on 26/10/2009 on the aforementioned tender;

Reference is made to the provisional notification of tender award on the above mentioned tender dated 10th November 2009;

We are pleased to inform you won definitive tender/supply of 36 computers and 36 UPS for the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda to the second option proposed in your offer for the total amount included all taxes equivalent of twenty five millions two hundred thirty eight thousand one hundred sixty Rwandan Francs (RWF 25 238 160) according to the procedures described in the Request For Proposal NO011/F/2009-NO/MIS DEPARTMENT/NISR/BASKET FUND to support NISR dated on 26/08/2009 published in the newspaper Imvaho Nshya no 1917 from 31 August to 02 September 2009, in accordance with the Law on Public Procurement NO 12/2007 of 27/03/2007 and Ministerial Order NO 001/08/10/MIN of 15/01/2008 establishing regulations on public procurement and standard bidding documents.

I hold to inform you that the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda will invite your company to sign a contract after present a performance security equivalent of RFW 2,523,816 (10% of RFW 25,238,160 of the total amount included VAT 18% and other taxes) issued by a bank or Insurance company according to the attached performance security model. All other kinds of performance security shall not be accepted.
