TENDER NOTICE N° 011/T/2010-I/PEPAPS/RPPA

TITLE: REHABILITATION, EXTENSION AND REINFORCEMENT OF DRINKING WATER
SUPPLY NETWORK IN THE NYARUGURU DISTRICT (BATCH B2 B).

SOURCE OF FUND: BELGIUM KINGDOM.

CLIENT: PEPAPS.

The Rwanda Public Procurement Authority "RPPA" hereby re-invites international tenders for the rehabilitation, extension and reinforcement of drinking water supply network in the Nyaruguru District (Batch B2 b).

Participation to the competition is open on equal conditions to all companies or enterprises specialized in the field with a valid certificate of incorporation.

The Tender Document may be obtained from the Rwanda Public Procurement Authority from 3rd February 2010 upon presentation of a prepaid bank slip of a non-refundable fee of one hundred thousand Rwanda francs (100,000 Rwf) or the equivalent in a freely convertible currency deposited to the account N°120.00.46 of RRA at the “Banque Nationale du Rwanda (BNR)”, or in the branches of Kigali City, Nyabugogo, Kacyiru and Remera.

An optional site visit will be conducted by the representative of PEPAPS. The time and place for departure are fixed on 18th February 2010, at 9:00 a.m. local time (7:00 GMT) at PEPAPS head office in Huye District.

Well printed bids written in French or English language, properly bound and presented in four copies of which, an original and three copies must reach, in sealed envelopes, the Director of the Rwanda Public Procurement Authority, P.O. Box 4276 Kigali, Avenue de la paix, Tel.: (250) 501403, Fax: (250) 501402 at the latest on 23rd March 2010 at 9:00 a.m., local time, (7:00 GMT) accompanied by a bid guarantee of fifteen million Rwanda francs (15 000 000 Rwf) or the equivalent in a freely convertible currency, issued by a reputable bank or a registered insurance company. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will remain valid for 120 days starting from the deadline of their submission.
The opening of the bids will take place in a public session on the same day at 10:00 a.m. prompt local time, (8:00 GMT) at the Rwanda Public Procurement Authority conference-room.
