1- INVITATION TO TENDER BIDS N° XX/ ASS/SEN/PO/2010

TENDER TITLE: ACQUISITION OF SUPPLIES AND SERVICES FOR THE SENATE

1. The Senate invites bidders for acquisition of supplies and services below:
- Acquisition of office supplies (photocopier consumables, printers etc.), printers etc.);
- Acquisition of badges, business cards and invitation cards for the senate

- Acquisition of translation services.

2. Participation is open on equal conditions to all companies operating in the field.
3. Prospective bidders may obtain the Tender Document from the Procurement Officer of the Senate, from 20thJuly2010 upon presentation of a bank slip of a non refundable fee of RWF 8,000 for first and second documents and RFW 6,500 for the third document, deposited on the account N° 120 00 46 opened at the National Bank of Rwanda.

4. Bids well printed, signed, stamped, properly bound and prepared in English or Kinyarwanda shall be presented in three (3) copies (an original and two copies) and addressed to the Clerk of the Senate, P.O. Box 6729 Kigali-Rwanda, Tel: 0252594503.

5. Bids must be deposited at the Procurement Officer’s Office no later than 20th August, 2010 at 9.00hrs prompt, local time.

6. All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security. The amount of the Bid Security shall be Rwf 100,000 for the first document, Rwf 50,000 for the second and third document, issued by a recognized bank or insurance company in Rwanda.

7. Bids will remain valid for 120 days as of the date of the bids deposit.
8. Payment will be made on the State’s recurrent budget.

9. The opening of bids will take place on 20th August, 2010, at 10.00 at the Political meeting room, on the 2nd floor in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
